NATIONAL QUILT CHAMPIONSHIPS 2007

Two wins at Sandown Park! "Volubilis" won the de Haviland prize for embellishment. "Passionate About the Garden" won the prize for Computer Design. This quilt is now going to Japan to be part of an exhibition. A special fabric called "myfab" has been used to print the floral patterns before making up into the quilt.

QUILTS IN THE GARDEN 2007
A second prize awarded at Trentham Gardens, in the special category "The Italian Connection" All participants were given a half metre of fabric from EQS which had to be incorporated into the quilt. My entry was entitled "Venetian Windows".

RICHES OF STITCHES 2007
The Embroiderers Guild exhibition for members, from 21 July to 9 September at Bankfield Museum, Halifax, included my wallhanging entitled "Venetian House".

WORLD QUILT COMPETITION
"Venice Water & Glass" has been accepted for the World Quilt Competition and will tour America. It will be exhibited at the World Quilt Show, New England, in August, Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza in September, Pacific International Quilt Festival in October, and Greater Chicago Quilt Exposition in November.
